Under Armour, the originator of performance footwear, apparel and equipment, revolutionized how athletes across the globe dress. Designed to make all athletes better, the brands innovative products are sold worldwide to athletes at all levels.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

During a busy growth period with a lack of internal resources, JK Creative was recruited to support the global retail team at Under Armour. One initiative included expanding a new line of Brand House stores, starting with the first location in the SoHo district of New York City. Working with blueprints, we identified what areas of the store should utilize graphics and determined the best solutions such as back-lit signs, 3D letters, wall wraps, die cut graphics, way-finding, and more. Carefully selecting imagery and designs that spoke to an international and fashion forward audience was important to ensure consumers would be immersed in the brand. In addition to designing, we also recommended solutions on materials based on what graphics would be updated frequently or were evergreen. The SoHo store was well received and set the tone for new Brand House locations across the country.
