Getting to Know Local Business JK Creative

This month one of Avalon’s Featured Business of the Week will be JK Creative, a graphic design and marketing firm. While the business is five years old, this recent Avalon Innovation Award winner is new to Florida and is enjoying being a part of the Avalon Park Community. The team is comprised of passionate, creatives looking to stand behind our vision: to create high-quality marketing solutions unique to each client’s brand story. What is your start up story?

After several years of working in top Mid Atlantic ad agencies, JK Creative’s founder and Creative Director, Julie Kostic had the vision to start providing her services to clients directly. In 2016, we opened our doors in Maryland with a handful of clients and have continued to grow our roster throughout the years. In 2019, we relocated headquarters from the DC Metro area to sunny Orlando, Florida. Every day we strive to create solutions that exceed client expectations and translate into increased brand recognition.

Where are you located?

In March we moved into an office in the brand new 5th Floor Coworking Space on Avalon Park East Boulevard. The 5th Floor (actually on the 2nd Floor) offers different office sizes and desk space for all sorts of different businesses and solopreneurs. We are excited to be collaborating with other businesses here and can’t wait for the new Marketplace to open up right downstairs soon too! We have a satellite office in Baltimore, MD as well.

What kind of services do you provide?

We have worked with clients in a wide range of industries to include retail, food & beverage, education, real estate, medical, tech, non-profit, government, and more. We work with different budgets too, from supporting small business and start-ups, up to assisting large corporate marketing teams. We love the challenge of developing designs for each brand that are truly unique to them.

What makes you stand out from competitors?

Our founder Julie is an award-winning designer and comes to the table with 15+ years of experience with big brands. She leads the talented team in creating high-quality and memorable projects for clients that are custom to their brand. We also like to simplify the process for our clients by offering a range of services and project management. It’s good to note that JK Creative is a Woman Owned Business and has a state DBE certification. We believe in connecting with the local community and are members of organizations such as the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce.
