About NACE
The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) is the world's leading association of caterers, event professionals, and special event services that provides resources to the special event industry. NACE’s mission is to provide catering and event professionals superior education, networking & resources to enhance career success and deliver excellence to clients! For this year’s conference, the association put on an educational showcase that explored trends such as PRIDE and promoting inclusivity. JK Creative teamed up with other vendors to showcase a rainbow theme across three different styles and executions.
The wedding showcase featured a whimsical theme with rainbow colors in a bright and airy space. We wanted to create an event design that celebrated love in a gender-neutral, LGBTQ+-friendly manner.
We collaborated with the team to create elements such as:
Invitation suite
Menu cards
Table numbers
Place cards
Signage
All of the print pieces used a velvety white stock with a rainbow pattern and a hit of holographic foil. This modern design is elegant and perfect for a variety of couples getting married.
This dark approach to the rainbow aspect was enhanced by JK Creative’s table signage, invitation suite, and cake display cards tributed to the seven deadly sins. The social event showcase featured a high-end 50th birthday party with a seven deadly sins theme. The mood was dark (and a little creepy) but still incorporated pops of rainbow color.

The star of this collection was the invitation featuring a black stock with metallic gold ink, white ink, and die cuts to show custom-illustrated skulls. The rest of the pieces featured elements such as gold ink and illustration to carry the theme throughout the showcase. What a unique and stunning setting for a milestone birthday.
JKC collaborated with the NACE conference to create an invitation suite, hedge sign, and table cards to welcome their guests and encourage participation. The conference showcase featured a variety of rainbow-themed areas that encouraged attendees to interact with the space. A bold geometric theme decorated the space with plenty of signage and stations.

Tabletop signs
3D cut signs
Small postcards and worksheets
This section of the design experience encouraged participants to explore the space, learn, and connect with others. Large and small signage directed them through various activities, all while keeping the rainbow theme front and center. This space with a variety of rainbow seating was a great alternative to a traditional monotoned, auditorium seating type of event.
